Chilmiri Neck in Chakrata Uttarakhand

Chilmiri Neck or Chilmiri Top in Chakrata is about 3 km from Chakrata. This is a great Meadow surrounded by lush green deodar forests. Best for Birdwatching and Himalayan viewpoint. 

The cantonment is located on one of the peak points, Chilmiri. From here, you can see the Rohini Peak, Swarga Peak, and the Banderpoonch Massif.

The forests that surround Chilmiri Neck provide ample opportunities for bird watching because they are home to beautiful migratory birds and colorful butterflies that add to the charm of the area.
