Kedarnath Yatra 2022 Permits
Due to Covid, the authorities limited the number of pilgrims who could visit the Char Dhams last year. However, there would be no limits this year, in 2022. You will still require a general permit to enter the Kedarnath Yatra, but there will be no restrictions on the number of pilgrims who can visit. Permits are available online or at various registration stations. There are counters at the railway station and bus terminals near Kedarnath. One counter is located at the Rishikesh railway station, another is located in Haridwar, while others are located at bus terminals.
You’ll need to indicate your visit dates, and you’ll be given a card that you’ll need to show at several checkpoints. You’ll also require a fitness certificate from Guptkashi and Sonprayag’s medical centres. They’d take your blood pressure and look for signs of other disorders you’ve had in the past. If you are well enough to go, you will be given a medical certificate, which is required while visiting temple shrines.
