Sari Village in Chopta Uttarakhand

Sari town is situated at a height of 6554 feet in the Rudraprayag region near Ukhimath. It is a small and remote town in the Indian state of Uttrakhand. It serves as the base camp for the incredibly beautiful lake, Deorial Tal. Deoria Tal is only a 2-kilometer hike away. Deoria Tal stands 7800 feet tall.

Sari town is significant because it serves as the base camp for Deoria Tal and can be used as a starting point for treks to Tungnath Temple and Chopta; additionally, Chopta is accessible by road from Sari. This street travel is extremely romantic, and you come across some exceptionally good bhugyals glades.

By road, it takes between one and two hours to travel from Sari to Chopta. Many times, when all of the lodgings in Chopta are closed due to snowfall, you can use Sari as a base camp.
