These farms are also popular places to watch the sunrise. The large expanses of potato farms, also known as Aloo Khet, in Dhanaulti are popular tourist attractions. These fields are owned by both the government and private farmers.

Potato production is substantial and is supplied to many locations outside of Uttarakhand. The potato farms are about 1 km from the main market, and the Doon valley can be seen from here. Horseback riding is also available to tour these potato farms.
