Haridwar, India’s spiritual center, the holiest city for Hindus, and an emerging new yoga hub, is home to India’s largest yoga institute, Patanjali Yogpeeth, Baba Ramdev’s flagship project. Yogrishi Swami Ramdevji Maharaj and Acharya Balkrishnaji Maharaj and includes Patanjali Ayurveda Chikitsalaya, Department of Yoga Research & Development, Department of Ayurveda Research and Development, and various other facilities such as a canteen, guest houses, laundry, parking, ATM, and so on.

The center is also known for providing free services to millions of people all over the world through Ayurveda and Yoga, such as Yoga classes, Yoga science camps, Ayurvedic consultancy, housing and food for the poor, transportation, library access, and training in the fields of Medicinal Plant Agriculture and Panchgavya.

Patanjali Yogpeeth- II, a fully furnished campus, was established in 2009 with the goal of housing thousands of Yog Science Camp participants. The vast institution also produces FMCG products known as Patanjali Ayurved. Around 15000 franchise stores sell their products throughout India. Yog Gram, a naturopathy center founded by Baba Ramdev, is a few kilometers away from the Patanjali Yogpeeth.

Sh BC Khanduri, former chief minister of Uttarakhand, inaugurated the Yog Gram Centre on June 8, 2008. The institution provides therapies such as Pyramid Therapy, Magnet Therapy, Reiki Therapy, Pranic Healing, Colon Irrigator Hydrotherapy, and electro- Physiotherapy. Yog Gram also includes a unique residential area for 525 people.
