Lachhiwala in Dehradun Uttarakhand

People looking for a waterfront eat-and-nap should not overlook this lovely spot. A picnic spot called Lachhiwala is located far from the hustle and bustle of Dehradun city. Small 4-7 foot well-maintained ponds amidst the sal trees can be found in Lachhiwala.

The primary source of water for these ponds is fresh water from the Suswa River’s stream. Aside from sightseeing, tourists can enjoy swimming in man-made pools, trekking, and bird-watching.

There are numerous guest houses in the vicinity of Lachhiwala that provide tourist accommodation. Lachhiwal is well connected to the main road due to its proximity to the Dehradun-Haridwar Road. To get there, tourists can take a private taxi or a bus from Dehradun, Rishikesh (35 km), and Haridwar (42 km).
