Camp Thangdhar is located in the Mussorie Hills at an elevation of 8500 feet, 15 kilometers from Dhanaulti and 14 kilometers from Chamba. Tehri Dam is 35 kilometers from the campsite. The Thangdhar Camp, located approximately 14 kilometers from Dhanaulti’s main market, is by far the best adventure camp in the area.

The camp, located at an elevation of about 8300 feet and surrounded by pine and deodar trees, also graciously provides sightseeing services to nearby tourist destinations. If you crave adrenaline, you can participate in camp-organized activities such as rock climbing, snow camping, trekking, or mountain biking.

If you prefer the company of lost architectural ruins from the past, you can visit the nearby Jain temples.  The temples are located in Kanali Fort, overlooking the Betwa River, and provide a well-deserved rest stop on the journey. The beautiful and captivating environment and camp life will make you feel like you’re lying in Mother Nature’s lap, and it’s also the highest destination closest to Delhi, India’s capital.
