Bhalu Gaad i Mukteshwar
Between 2016 and 2017, the Bhalu Gaad waterfall was discovered. It is situated between three villages: Chaukhuta, Gaajar, and Buraasi. This is a relatively new popular adventure location near Mukteshwar. The meaning of Bhalu gaad is Bhalu means Bear and Gaad means stream. Gaad is a Kumauni language term used by the locals. This is one of the most visited places in Mukteshwar.
If you are visiting Nainital or Mukteshwar, you should definitely pay a visit to Bhalu Gaad waterfall. There are numerous ways to get to Bhalu Gaad waterfall. First and foremost, if you are planning to visit the waterfall, please bring a personal vehicle (car, bike, or Scotty) because no public transportation is currently available.
Some people come from Haldwani to Bhalu Gaad waterfall and then to Mukteshwar because this is also the best route for those coming from Haldwani directly. To do so, you must first visit Khutani, which is also a good place to rest for 10-15 minutes because there are restaurants and cafes nearby. Kutani is 30 kilometers from Haldwani and is completely straddled.
Then take the right road for 33 kilometers to reach Dhari village. From there, you’ll need to seek advice from locals. After passing through Dhari village, take the first left. Here are some cottages where you can stay if you decide to return.
