The government built this lake with the intention of creating artificial snow on the new ski slopes in the event that low snowfall during certain seasons hampered tourism at this Ski-Hotspot. This lake’s water is strategically used to feed the snow guns strategically placed along the ski slopes, providing a smooth skiing surface and extending the popular ski season.
