Zero Point is a tower built right in the heart of the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. Zero Point can be found in Binsar, which is located near Almora in the state of Uttarkhand, at a height of approximately 2400 meters above sea level.

This location is not accessible by vehicle and can only be reached via a 2-kilometer hiking trail from the parking lot. This area is well-known throughout the country for the breathtaking views it provides. Visitors and locals alike flock to Zero Point to take in the breathtaking view of the Himalayas’ pure white mountains.

In addition to providing a breathtaking view of the mountain peaks of Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, and others, this is the ideal location to begin the day by viewing a magnificent sunrise that spreads its rays of beauty throughout the surrounding area.

All of this makes Zero Point enticing for nature and adventure enthusiasts. Because the point can only be reached by walking, make sure you have the stamina to complete the journey. To traverse the rough trekking trail, wear comfortable footwear. Bring your own food and snacks because there will be no stalls selling anything along the way.

Entry Fees and Things to do in Zero Point

Within the conservatory, local guides are available for a fee and there is no entry fee. They will usually guide you through the trekking trail while providing information on the sanctuary’s inhabitants for a fee of Rs.300. They are well-versed in the various species that inhabit and comprise the wilderness.

1. Begin your day by watching the spectacular sunrise as the sun spreads its golden rays across the mountains and wilderness.
2. Walk up the trail to Zero Point and enjoy the fresh air in the forest to get your adrenaline pumping.
3. As you trek through the sanctuary’s lush greenery, you’ll be able to see the region’s diverse wildlife.
4. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the pristine white mountains that surround the area.
5. Photograph nature in all its splendor, with the wilderness all around you. The majestic mountains and trees add to the breathtaking scenery.
6. Arrange for a local guide to learn the names of the various species that live in the sanctuary.
