Mussoorie Lake in Mussoorie  Uttarakhand

It is a man-made lake created by the Mussoorie-Dehradun Development Authority and the City Board. The lake is located on the Dehradun-Mussoorie Road, about 6 kilometers before Mussoorie. One can disembark at Dhobi Ghat, from which the lake is only a short walk away.

The lake’s surroundings include the breathtaking views of Doon Valley and the verdant hills of Mussoorie. There are pedal boats available for enjoying the tranquility of the lovely lake. It is an ideal picnic location for families and couples to spend quality time together.

The best time to visit is during the monsoon season when the lake is at its most beautiful. There are no admission fees, and the lake is open all year. Visitors can get refreshments from shops that sell refreshments.
