Lakulisha was thought to be Lord Shiva’s final avatar. He was one of the first Pasupata philosophers to teach. A small shrine is dedicated to him, and his name literally translates to “Lord with a Club,” as he is depicted in this temple. Inside, however, is only a small Shivling, as nothing of the original deity remains.
