Eco Park in Dhanaulti

Eco Parks are newly developed twin parks located in Dhanaulti, Uttarakhand, 500 metres from Dhanaulti Bus Station. It is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Dhanaulti as part of Mussoorie Tour Packages because it is located on the Chamba-Mussoorie road.

Eco Park is divided into two sections, Amber and Dhara, which are 200 metres apart and span 13 hectares. Both gardens were created and maintained by the Forest Department with the assistance of local youth in order to provide employment opportunities for the poor.

These gardens, which are densely forested with deodar and cedar trees, are ideal for leisurely strolls and short hikes. The entire area is comprised of a protected population of deodar trees with wildflower hedges and is located at a height of 7800 m above sea level.

In the park, there is also a tradition known as memory sapling plantation, as part of which one can plant a sapling in memory of their loved one. In the park, there are small open huts where visitors can sit and enjoy the scenery. The park is very well-kept and is an excellent place for children to play, with a separate playground for them.

Eco Park is an amazing place for the adventurous tourists out there because adventure sports such as sky walking, flying fox, rock climbing, and many more are available for all age groups from children to older adults, along with additional safety measures. There is also a yoga centre and an interpretation centre in the park. As a result, it is an ideal place for nature lovers as well as the adventurous to unwind and spend some time alone.

The best times to visit the park are at sunrise and sunset when the park looks spectacular against the multi-coloured sky. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and entry fees are Adults pay Rs. 20 and children pay Rs. 10.
