Company Garden in Mussoorie
Company Garden Mussoorie is about 3 km from Mussoorie Library (on the Mall Road), and is one of Mussoorie’s best picnic spots. The Municipal Corporation takes good care of the Company Garden, which provides entertainment for people of all ages, particularly children. The garden is surrounded by beautiful mountains on the outside and filled with joy on the inside.
There is a lovely lake with paddle boating available and a small but pleasant waterfall. The kids will have a great time with (low-cost) rides like Columbus, the baby train, and the swing chair. The Municipal Garden is also well-known for the variety of flowers and plants that are grown there.
The addition of a wax museum in the garden is another feather in the cap. The Dev Bhoomi Wax Museum is the third of its kind in India; the other two are in Tamil Nadu and Lonavla (Maharashtra). To the delight of all visitors, lifelike statues of great personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi, Einstein, Jawaharlal Nehru, Mother Teresa, Michael Jackson, Princess Diana, and Barack Obama are displayed. A food court on the premises serves a variety of foods to keep visitors satisfied.
